Tunes!

I took a listen to the other local dance music artists on www.Reverbnation.com last night, and I was glad to discover that I am not the worst sounding artist on there!! What a relief! My skills are improving though and I reckon I’ll have some release-worthy stuff soon. Been working on a new track called Lost. I tend to jump around from tune to tune to avoid the dreaded “Loopitis”. (This is when you’ve been looping a section of a song to try and add a part, or correct something and then you just get stuck there and can’t get anything done and it all starts sounding terrible)

Tracks up on Reverbnation

I have uploaded some of my tunes to Reverbnation http://www.reverbnation.com/syrrano

I have one tune that is nearing completion. It’s called Genesys. I have sent it up to a friend in Joburg for mastering. Hope to have the result back soon.

The rest are all work in progress.

Honda Prelude rebuild - Stage 1

Author: Syrrano  //  Category: Uncategorized

So I have decided to rebuild my Gen-4 Honda Prelude. I love this car to bits and have previously done some cosmetic mods to it which didn’t come out quite the way I’d planned.

I previously re-upholstered the interior in black Nappa leather and Alcantara suede, but the suede I ordered from the UK turned out to be the wrong colour when it arrived. It wasn’t really viable to return it so I used it anyway.

The problem is that it is too light and gets dirty really quickly. So, seeing as the car now needs some bodywork due to chips, dents, scratches and a few tiny surface rust spots, I am redoing it completely.

I have chosen Electric Orange as the paint colour. Yes I know every second person is sprayign their car this colour lately, but I have gone over all the options and I really think this will be a superb colour for this car.

The interior will be black leather and DARK GREY Alcantara this time, with large thread orange stitching.

The current F22A1 SOHC engine this car has is a bit weak at only 97kW. I will be replacing it with a H22A4 DOHC VTEC engine which produces 147kW.

I will be taking pics and posting them here throughout the project so check in from time to time.

Check out the gallery for pics of the disassembly so far.
